COMMENT ON THIS STORY
How would it look to the new Audit Committee if the City executed the deal they started with Morrier and paid for the demolition project, especially in light of the new evidence? I don't think it would stand up to scrutiny by the Auditors to do so. I think it is a moot point. The evidence exists. The City Council will have to apologize for any hasty decisions and deny his request and move on.
Report ViolationI often wonder what dirt Morrier has on Yakima's "Powers that be" to be constantly panderred to. Even while his mall was failing he was famous for charging "Bellevue" prices for "Buena" services (sorry Buena). Witness the Valley Mall where businesses are treated fairly and receive a decent value for their investment.
What goes around comes around. I'm certainly not ready to pass the hat for Joe.

I always wonder why the words "Jealousy" and "envy" show up in rebuttals when people are airing thier complaints about certain parties?
Report Violation"Envy" has nothing to do with one's complaint about Mr. Morrier, it's due to an perceived preferential treatement from our council where our moneys are concerned.
